Wow, thanks so much
I don't play guitar, so it took me a while to actually d/l and use this, but what a treat, thanks! It is wonderful on everything.

Thanks for your hard work. The new look is very nice. I really like some of the clean sounds. I'm not too big on the dirty tones, but this is definately a must-have release for anyone that uses guitar plugins. Great job!

Thanks for the new amp! It sounds great and I've already recorded a guitar part for another musician with it. However, I haven't been able to get the synth section to work at all. I use S3PE and have tried both ASIO and WDM. It dosen't seem to make a diffrence. When you flick the "power" button on in the synth section the audio shuts off. Dial back the "mix" knob and it starts to come back , but dial in the synth and goodbye sound. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this another of Sonar's annoying shortcomings?

Thanks so much. I must admit I probably have guitar amp sim software overload on my computer but there is always rooms for more. Even though I use some of the market leaders amp sim products I know I will find a use for FreeAmp as it has fantastic quality. The GUI is also looking awsome with this release.

The AUDIO TRIGGERS determines how the synth's envelope gate will respond to an audio input! Should be set to low values for fast response (fast picking, leads), Higher values will yield more sustain. NOTE: these controls are mapped to continuous controller numbers and should be looked at as controls that can be used in real time to control how the envelopes gate respond to an input.
GATE knob - sets the Input Threshold that will trigger the synth's envelope gate
DECAY knob - sets the envelope gate's time to re-trigger
the easiest way to get sound out of this synth:
- Click on "Synth Setup"
- Set "AMPLIFIER" > "SUS" to maximum
- Set "FILTER 1" > "HP" to minimum and "LP" to maximum
- Vary "CUT" frequency ...

All the "Clean" presets which use PRE-COMPRESSOR and/or POST-COMPRESSOR should be usable for bass ...laputa_sync wrote:tried this out and it rocks!!!!

One thing I would be real curious about! Anyone out there have a Receptor ? That would be so kind to take the time to see if FreeAmp2 runs or not on Receptor?
Thanks

Thanks again for FreeAmp2.
I read that some people were unable to get that extreme high gain out of this plug but all I know is that I'm thrashing with this thing! I like it a lot!
