Right now my distances are 5 mm. I didn't know you could get that close!

opps I made a little mistake when converting to mm.
Add about 1 mm to these numbers.

So it's between 2.5mm and 3.5mm

I'd still like to encourage Midiworks to release the old Xmastube with its full set of controls from last December and make a few bucks. I'm guessing he had another version that wasn't released that had the tone controls and maybe more.

Freeamp is fantastic- a tremendous gift. It sounds to me like a multi-FX unit (ala Digitech RP-1) more than it sounds like a recorded guitar amp. Don't get me wrong- I'm tremendously grateful that its being developed and so far released for free. I think he could sell it inexpensively and still make a few bucks.

I hate to see this one be "dead in the water". I think he had something going and even if the new one isn't ready, the release of the full sim he had back in December would probably shake things up a bit. (based on xmastube and the other demos he has posted)
