Greetings,
Michael
Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.

There is GUI window size problem with the latest VST beta.
I can't see the part which is covered by XY4 and also all bottom FX part. The reverb GUI window size is also so big, so many blank space. I just tried with Bidule and no problem, just with Live 5.2.

I have no problem with AU GUI.

Hmmm, might be a problem with Live and the new VST2.4 standard. Unfortunately my dev friend at Ableton is out of town currently, but I'm sure we get that fixed when he's back. Definately for the final.

I just discovered that you can smoothly modulate the speed of the MSEG's with another modulator (LFO, Modwheel, etc). Great for some rythmic madness...

Post

Yeah, assign global tempo to a large, slow LFO, that'll be interesting on the dancefloor! ;)

from time to time the points in an MSEG will get stuck and not be able to move side to side

Bug report - Using the AU version if I set the sample rate to 96k the same note on the same patch is 2 octaves higher than at 48k... the attack time for the sound changes too - OSX10.4.6 G5 Live 5.2

edit - the new VST version is fine at 96k, but I do get the screwed up GUI... partly cut off

edit 2 - with the vst version I do have one preset which plays far louder at 96k than 48k, maybe because it uses the formant filter...

cpu use is about double at 96k

Two octaves higher?!?

Well, what if you create a new project at 96kHz, then insert an instance. Does that make any difference?

I've just gone through the code and everything looks fine. A host-wise correctly handled change of samplerate should just work in my AU layer. Nevertheless, I put in a double check thing.

wow..

nice i like zebra2 (au-version) very much so far ....

is it so that zebralette doesn't have presets....?

Post

Zebralette presets (roughly 400 or so) will be added shortly. They must all be saved with the latest version to ensure compatibility with Z2.

OK. First round for bugfixes (discovered while doing PC stuff, hehehe):

Take with a grain of salt, I've been totally down with my nerves for a couple of hours (also because of working in front of the PC)

okay... AU 96k seems to be working fine today... don't know if the new beta did something, or it is just that I restarted my machine.

VST version still not useable in Live due to cut-off GUI

It is just too hot to do much of anything

Well, talked to my contact at Ableton yesterday and I think we'll have a solution for that shortly. No big deal, it'll be fine in the final.
