Good idea.
OR, maybe the selected controls could differ from the non-selected a bit more drastically in coloring. Especially when not selected on top, I tend to look for the right controls for a second or so.
EDIT: I checked this out a bit more, and the OSC controls always seem lighter colour than the others, so you easily confuse them as being selected even if they are not.
It confuses the brain, that's all.

Okay...
That's one of the points that are not in the final yet, because it has to be tested first: Preferences that persist for all instances, each time you open it. It's part of the new file handling and I first have to make sure that it works perfectly for the presets.
At least, I managed to let the selected tabs persist over closing/opening the editor...
I guess these things must be filed under service update a couple of weeks after release...
