When I save a preset in the AU version, it saves as xxxx.aupreset instead of xxxx.fxp. Are they interchangable? Can I send the .aupreset to someone on a PC with a vst version?
Maybe with manually changing the .aupreset ---> .fxp ?
Thanks for any help...

No. AU or FXB saving is usually a ffunction of the host, not the plugin, so Cubase on the PC won't know what to do with an AU preset file.
Some Mac hosts will read FXB's as well as AU's (like Logic, for example).
If Urs has done special manual file handling, then Z2 *might* be able to load either, but I don't know if that's the case.

The AU presets show up in Zebra VST Mac... and the FXB presets created by the VST version show up in Zebra AU Mac , so they are interchangeable on the Mac, just don't know about PC. I've been creating presets in the AU version because the VST version has the GUI problem in Live, but I don't want to be doing that if they are not compatible with Zebra on PC.

Take the latest version.
Go to Preset panel.
Select "h2p" instead of "native".
Switch "only active modules" on.
That saves lightweight (less kb per preset) patches which can be read on any platform.
(I'd love to add .aupreset support to VST Win. Just get me someone who has set up Darwin's CoreFoundation in MS Visual Studio so that it *compiles*)
Later,
Urs
P.S.: There's a comfortable shortcut btw. to convert presets between formats quickly, with just one click per patch, but it's currently broken. Must fix that, too...
