CronoX3 and Sophistry 3.0.7 updates - flakey on Receptor

Well it looks like something to do with enabling VST 2.4 support in these updates has effective BROKEN these two plugs for Receptor users. I did a clean "unsupported install" on both and now they are locking up and rebooting my box, even sending it into "recovery mode" some. The error log shows:

Jul 24 02:47:19 Hybernation-001 rm-host: source/VstPlugin.cpp::VstSetTo[2294]: '/c/Program Files/VST Plugins/Unsupported Plugins/CronoX3/CronoX3Stereo.dll' reports unknown version 2400; using 2.0

And

Jul 24 02:47:21 Hybernation-001 rm-host: source/VstPlugin.cpp::VstSetTo[2294]: '/c/Program Files/VST Plugins/Unsupported Plugins/Sophistry/SophistryStereo.dll' reports unknown version 2400; using 2.0

This is a rather intermittant kind of thing, but the crashes it's producing are a bit scary. I even had to perform the dreaded "hold the power button forever" kind of reboot to get my receptor to respond one time.

I will post this same information over at the Linplug forum...perhaps Peter can work with the Muse guys to resolve this. In the meantime, I'd stick with the older versions of these two plugs if you have them working.

Crums. I use CronoX a lot. Thanks for the warning, I'll keep .05 installed for now.

Yes, I see the point. However, we're using VST2.4 for all instruments now (that is CronoX as well as Albino 3 and all comming updated during thes summer); its required to be MacIntel compatible.
I'm afraid there really is no way than keeping "old" versions until the Receptor supports 2.4 VST.
I also understand why i not get a reply from Muse when we can set up Albino 3 o Receptor .... its just not working yet.
