Hi all. Is anyone using Receptor as a drum module? I am yet to find a way to be able to get the front panels to simply start play in RMX Stylus? I do not use Stylus in trigger mode, but more in a backbeat fashion where the beat is looping continually. So all I need really is to be able to assign one of receptors front panel buttons to stylus' play button and use that button as a start stop button. Without having this I am forced to have a laptop present just to click start and stop in RMX. Has anyone found a way of doing this?

Well, you certainly dont need to bring a laptop, but you may have to bring a midi controller of some kind. That should do the trick...

Hey thanks custom, I'm aware of the controller route but I was hoping that I could assign something on the front panel. There are four knobes on the receptor, but I can't use them.

I'M not sure whether the four dial/push buttons could be remapped to work as transport buttons. Perhaps it could be added to the wishlist thread.

I've done it!!!!! It works, I have managed to assign one of the Assignable KNOBS to Stylus' Play button. Cool! The problem is though, I have to turn it like a sweeping value. when it passes a threshold it goes, off and vice versa when it goes under. I don't get a simple MIDI on and off. a bit naff but better than having to use a screen.
Does anybody know if you can use the push feature of the assignable knobs to send MIDI signals? (you can push the assignable knobs but I think this just brings up the assigned parameter in receptors front panel window)
