It doesnt matter whether you sample it directly or process it; its still a 'derived work', and subject to copyright law. Given that the piano is a 'selling point' of the Triton, I think there's more likelihood of there being a problem, to be honest.
However, I would say one thing; if you demonstrably show a willingness to take down samples at the request of the copyright holder, then you would, more than likely, be protecting yourself; the first step in protecting copyright is a cease-and-desist request, not a lawsuit.
