Can I ask how?
I installed using the remote control - I entered the reg number from Native Inst. It says that it installed - I can load the plug in - I can see the keys moving up and down - the built in plug ins work - there are no sample to load with this synth.
Did I miss a step? I think I followed the instructions on Plug o rama correctly.
Help!
on the setup page it says that the b4II has been successfully authorized. Don't see what I am missing.

Recepter isn't an instrument as such...
Hope you solve your troubles soon anyway.

well if it has installed successfully and you can see the B4 2 keys moving when you transmit midi then it has gone in fine. So it's something on the audio side. Hmmm, all your other plugs sound fine? Mute is'nt enabled on the channel strip? Try choosing a patch on the receptor channel, not interally. Make sure your OS is upto date. Anybody else any ideas on this?

Select a preset, then select Organ view. move the swell slider ll the way up with the mouse. Press a key with the mouse, there should be sound. It's a pretty powerful instrument, keep your amp down fairly low when testing, If it still isn't sounding, check your mixer settings and meters.

I work in software development so I have heard this excuse before and always laugh when people use it but I swear:
I turned off everything in the studio last night and turned it all on this morning and this morning it works. All I did was turn everything off and on.
Question: when installing a plug in do you need to recycle the receptor to get it to work?

hi. I just got a receptor, along with b4 II, ivory, and elektrik piano.
Are you me?
( I don't know if you need to re-start after loading, but i usually do that anyway when I install something new.)
How much mem do you have?

very close - I went w LL3 not elektrik.
I have 1.256 gig but have a brand new 1 gig stick on order.
didn't have much time to play with b4ii this am before flying out to work but seemed to be working fine.
I don't think that the doc's are detailed enough for newbie's like me - and I confess that I didn't read the whole 194 page manual - just the parts I needed - set up remote, mounting the hard drive, installing the plug ins.
The docs on plugorama are based right off the manual - don't detail all the steps - took a while for me to find the receptor name under setup when setting up the remote control.
The b4II install is complete after pressing that other button from the setup page on the remote control and entering a new reg number.
