Hi All,

Can anyone advise me what is the best Brass sample for Live performance that works well on the Receptor - mainly for pop stuff,

You seem to have a choice between Garritan Jazz and Chris Hein Horns. As I have neither, I cannot help you out, but both products have had good reviews.

Don't know much about CH horns, though the demos sounded good. Garritan is very flexible if you have time to develop the controller combinations to get the eddect you want. If you take the time to learn the controller structure - it's different than most snths, but quite learnable) you can play some pretty believable horn lines.

Last month's Keyboard Mag had a great review of Garritan JABB. A best buy designation.

I'v got Kick Ass Brass working pretty well on Receptor. It is not supported by Muse and installs as a unsupported plug in. It is THE best pop/funk brass library IMO
