Ouch, of course I meant spectroblend. Was a late night typo (must have been about 3 a.m. in the morning when I wrote it). Sorry for the confusion.

then I confirm what you did happens for me too

What are the new Zebralette.dll and Zrev.dll files ?

btw : Zebra 2 KICKS ASS !!

Post

Zebralette - a one-osc no filter 'simplified' version of Zebra2. You can work on presets there, to learn the Zebra architecture. When you are ready you can import the Zebralette presets to Z2 and continue work in the semi-modular environment.

IMO Zebralette is hugely powerful even with just one osc! And the gui is incredible.

ZRev - A highly configurable version of Zebra2's internal reverb algo.

BUG REPORT:

When I am editing XY parameter names on the Performance page, then I double click to add the text about X/Y paramters, the ESC key closes that edit field. ESC is not working for me and there is no way to close that right now except delete the instance of Zebra.

Can someone else confirm this?

Post

Zebralette doesn't seem to be free. Or am I wrong? It has a noise from time to time. I have a noise-free from german Keys or Keyboards magazine. Is it the same?
The source of light is darkness

Post

afaik it will be free with the purchase of Zebra2.

It was free with Keyboards mag awhile back.

Err, what host? In energyXT you get Cancel/OK buttons with the text box. (ESC does nothing, but I don't think that it's even supposed to...)

Live... and the box says esc to close... which is how it has worked in the previous Zebra2 versions

Huh, I just downloaded Live demo (5.2.1) and I get the Cancel/OK boxes there as well.

Are we talking about the same thing? Editing the text fields on top and bottom of the four X/Y-controller squares on the "Perform"-page?

you must be on a PC...

I'm on a Mac

On the Mac, on the XY pad page... the top name box you accept and exit with the return key... there is no cancel/okay buttons... the bottom box you accept and exit with the esc key (they are not consistent) esc is not working for the bottom for me. No cancel/okay buttons there either.

Another issue maybe...

If I set up a lowpass filter and use the modwheel to do a filter sweep, it has stairstepping... if I use the knob, it is smooth... I know midi has low resolution, but wondering if interpolation/smoothing is working correctly in that case

the arp is not yet fully fixed, the distortion is gone, yes, but it still only runs forward, B, FB and BF are still not working.

GUI resize bug in Live/IntelMacs is fixed now!

Already fixed RingMod, Shapers and various other things (LFO User Wave had some problems as LFO Random Glide) over the weekend.

Uh... oh... - The modes for backward etc. account for the progression of the arpeggio, *not* for the control sequence. The control sequence will always step forward... just checked it and it seems normal...

Yours busily,

;) Urs
