I have 4 separate instruments playing on Kontakt via uniwire.
I'd like to bring them into Cubase as separate audio channels so that I can process them separately.
However there's only one audio channel set up for each instance of Uniwire.
Do I therefore need to run 4 separate versions of Kontakt on the Receptor on different channels, so that they each get a distinct audio feed into Cubase.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers, Domc

You cannot separate one Receptor channel into 4 separate UniWire channels. But, you can use one Kontakt instance and assign the next 3 Receptor channels to outputs 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8 of the Kontakt instance (use the PLUG-IN AUDIO FEEDS section in the plug-in selector panel). Then, send each Kontakt instrument to a different output pair.
In Cubase you will use 4 UniWire instances each connected to a Receptor channel. However, you will have to send all the MIDI to Receptor channel 1 because that is where your instance of Kontakt is.

Perfect - that's exactly what I was hoping you could do. I just need to teach myself about the plug in audio feeds section.
If I can get this slow loading problem (as per second thread) working then Uniwire is going to be really useful for me.
Many thanks Dan,
