On second review, I agree that it's simply a monitoring option that you've overlooked somewhere.

On a slightly related note, have you tried the Gearbox 2.0 upgrade? The interface might be easier than the original GuitarPort interface. Then again, it might not.

In either event, though, I'll be more helpful because it'll then share the same interface as my TonePort.

Yeah, I was going to mention the gearbox 2 thingy, too. According to the Line 6 site this will give you better recording tools.

I sold my GP a while ago to get a PodXT (which has later been replaced by Guitar Rig) so I'm sort of clutching at straws. I remember having some issues using GP in FL Studio because FL only allowed one input method at the time (it didn't recognize the digital in from GP to be a source).

I've got an update - last night I played with it for 5 minutes, and if I use the DirectX drivers I can hear it as I monitor the audio track. The problem is, this pushes the latency up to a whopping 54ms, which just makes it unplayable.

I tried ASIO4ALL to see if I could get it working with those drivers, but all I get is a high level of white noise when I try to monitor it. I know it's not a routing problem now, but it looks like there's an ASIO problem...

I'm wondering if uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers might help. Think I'll try that tonight.

'Sgotta help, I would think. Guitarport drivers are stable, so I dunno what gives.

At the moment I'm downloading the GearBox update, as that has the most recent drivers, but the Line6 site is being a bitch, and I can't get a really decent download speed. Might just download it and try it tomorrow night.
