I own LL3 - just got the aas studio bundle - the installer says that in order to crossgrade? to the receptor version I have to spend another $50. Is this right? why can't I just install it? I see that there is a 30 day trail version on the receptor that I haven't activated.
What's the story?

It's probably just their way of trying to recoup the costs of porting LL to Receptor. The Receptor market is tiny compared to the stock VST market and if they need to additional coding to get their plugs on the Receptor, they probably feel like they should recoup the costs in programming time to cater to such a small market. At least, that's the likely story. Might not be the best thing in the world, and you can argue whether you like that or not, but it seems to me like it makes a bit of sense of their part.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.
