I've just been trying out the swing control and have noticed one oddity (I think).
I set up hits on 4 tracks:
t1 - steps 1, 5, 9, 13
t2 - steps, 2, 6, 10, 14
t3 - steps 3, 7, 11, 15
t4 - steps 4, 8, 12, 16
with step resolution 16
and recorded the result for different levels of swing.
The results were:
- the hits on steps 1, 5, 9, 13 did not change position at all - as expected,
- the hits on steps, 2, 6, 10, 14 swung over a distance of 1/16 as the swing increased - as expected,
- the hits on steps 3, 7, 11, 15 swung over a distance of 1/8 as the swing increased - oops, I think these should not move,
- the hits on steps 4, 8, 12, 16 swung over a distance of 1/16 as the swing increased - as expected.

With step resolution 32, I got equivalent results, Steps 3, 7, 11, 15 swung over a distance of 1/16 as the swing increased - again I think these should not move.
Or am I missing something?
Anyone-else?
