I introduced the installers about the same time I introduced the bundles. Partly as an effort to counteract the 10% or so of customers who didn't know where to put the .dll and partly to introduce a continuity with the bundles.
The versions of the plugs did not change when I added the installers and so I did not send an update to existing customers. i.e. the plug-ins did not change except for the .dll name.
