A while back I needed a tape delay effect with a good feedback sound for a dub track.
So, i created one but didn't release it.
I found a few hours today to make a GUI and release it to the public.
It's a really simple plugin (there isn't even an option to sync the time to the host tempo), and not that special, but i guess some of you can never have enough tape delay plugins

Key features:
- Accurate tape delay emulation
- Smooth tape-like delay time changes
- Up to 1 second delay
- High and low cut
- Add noise for self resonance
- Midi-CC and VST Automation support

For those of you who like to know, the plugin is made with SynthEdit, but the whole sound-processing part is coded in C++ as module.

I only tested it in Cubase SX 2, and hope it works well in other hosts too

RetroDelay is used in pretty much every tune I write. I'm sure this will work its way in there, too.

Seconded.

I haven't downloaded it or played with it yet, but I know it'll be a good 'un.

It's quite nice to just have a simple delay plugin with no sync option...it's always going to be that little bit more realistic if the timing isn't quite perfectly synced to the tempo - just like it used to be. I'd say, don't even bother thinking about putting a sync option or anything else on it. Simple and sweet.
