I've been looking at chordspace and chordspace playa (http://www.chordspace.com)
At the moment, I can load chordspace as a VST instrument, and the thing plays just fine. However, I want to be able to record (as midi) the output of chordspace. I cannot seem to find a way to do this. Luna will record the notes I play, but not the notes that chordspace produces. I've mentioned chordspace because that's the one I'm looking at at the moment but I'm sure that there are other instruments that produce midi output that might be captured/recorded.
Cheers

Indeed, LUNA PR4 will support MIDI plugins
You'll be able to route the midi output from a vst plugin to any Player, thus including another VST plugin. This way you can even make midi plugin chains.
However, the output of a MIDI plugin can not (yet) be recorded. Only MIDI input can be recorded.

... just another thought ... (Not a new one, I guess...)
What about stuff like MIDI sync? I'm assuming "one day", LUNA will support being sync'd to an external clock. Could that sync come from a plug in? How about transport control? Or automation of tempo?
What I'm digging at (as ever
) is making sure no MIDI sink is hard-wired to any MIDI source (even if the UI to edit the routing isn't immediately available).

I think i get your point. Good point!
Yeah, please continue drilling me to make things open and modular.
Then we can still present them in an easy, user-friendly way.
