Forgive me if this is known, its very obvious but i could not find anything when searching:

1) When opening a new instance of Zebra 2, the initialized sound is always -12 notes (one octave) down.

2) You cannot select this manually later, you can only select from 0 and up to 24

3) The dropdown box is very ugly, it has 12 steps of nothing before the 0-24 steps :)

using the Aug 3 beta, AU

Reproducible, and confirmed here, OSX 10.3.9.

every new instance at -12 semitones: it always was that way, i do not actually consider it a bug, filterscape va is the same...

but i cant't confirm the buggy dropdown box, works perfect here, on windows, so it seems we finally have a mac-only-bug :hihi: ;)

You can use the mousewheel over that field and scroll through the numbers, including the negative numbers.

Yep, you can, if you happen to have a scroll-wheel mouse connected to your laptop, which at this current moment in time I haven't - making it impossible to select negative numbers. In any case, it looks like undesirable behaviour for Urs to be aware of...

it would be nice to save a preset as the default settings for new instances. perhaps this is already possible, i just dont know how to name/place the preset?

Yeah, sorry... the drop down is bugged by an annoying feature of OS X: Whenever any entry starts with a "-" (like in negative numbers), it just puts a menu divider (a thin line) into it. That's why the Arpeggiator transpositions start with a "<" instead of a minus. I gotta put the same thing in here...

Cheers,

;) Urs
