The king of all granular plugins is probably Crusher-X Studio. After that there are quite a lot of interesting granular toys built for/with Reaktor, and several in Cycling74's 'Pluggo' package.
The other option would be AudioMulch and some kind of audio loopback system (like Elevayta StreamBoy, a soundcard with flexible routing, or somesuch). Seemingly there's some sort of VST bridge for Chaosynth in develoment as well.

An idiot on Set Theory:

crusherX-Live has a little more flexibility than crusherX-Studio, but lacks the tempo sync. Both are a little pricey but do things that lesser granulators don't. Overall Live is better vfm, as it's slightly less expensive and has some extras under the hood. Runs as a VST via bridge. Combined with multichannel output it's instant brain damage.
Reaktor is always a good bet, plus it does a lot more.
Audio Mulch has excellent native granulators - the KT Granulator by Koen Tanghe is based on the AM DLGranulator contraption.

the best, as mentioned are CrusherX Studio (IMO way to expensive) Audiomulch contraptions (not VST) and Heizenbox (pretty cheap and does an amazing job)

Reaktors granular facilities never cut it for me......Fruityloops Granulizer is great but no realtime input..

Do Reaktor comes with granular essembles?
If not, where can i found that essembles??
i'll give a try to the plugins mentioned here,
About pluggo, all native plugins of pluggo are "unloadable"... (yes i already have installed the runtime). I build the vst of the first pluggo tutorial and it's was loadable... but the natives, don't.
thanks a lot
anything else?

None of the pluggo plugins are native. What version of Pluggo are you using, and what version of MAX/MSP did you use to build the first tutorial?About pluggo, all native plugins of pluggo are "unloadable"... Hmm, they're working fine on a couple of machines here. Although if you've installed the full Pluggo, you dont need the runtime. Is this Windows or the Mac? (shulda asked that earlier, really)kroe wrote: Sorry for the "native", i would like to mean "the plugins that comes with pluggo" (i.e. Stutterer, Shuffler, Raindrops).
I'd start by pulling down the 3.5.4 version of Pluggo and the 4.5.7 version of MAX/MSP...My versions are:

if i installed the full pluggo, i don't need to install the runtime again...
but when the things go wrong, u try all that u imagine hehehe
