But winning it would give so much more satisfaction than simply leeching it off the net (which I won't do out of principles anyway).Cryogenic wrote:Well, stefancrs said it would be ok to pirate synthmaker, so you all can get it anyway.

Still haven't let that discussion go?Cryogenic wrote:Well, stefancrs said it would be ok to pirate synthmaker, so you all can get it anyway.
I did not say that, nor that it was ok to pirate any other software, please don't make stuff up. I think that even if I work and make a living within the current system I should be able to discuss the flaws of it, but that does not mean that I think people should break current laws and/or license agreements. Please don't turn this thread into a fight, even if you have an agenda or something against me.

I don't have any agenda against you. But when your ignorant, rambling 'reality' comes back to bite you in the ass, i just have to point that out.stefancrs wrote:Still haven't let that discussion go?Cryogenic wrote:Well, stefancrs said it would be ok to pirate synthmaker, so you all can get it anyway.

But please, tell us again. What's the difference between coyright of a song (in which you think its ok to widely copy and distribute), and your own software.

I haven't said it's ok to widely copy and distribute songs, and there's not really any difference between a "song copyright" and any other copyright. I have never said I think so, nor have I claimed that there's differences in copyrights that apply to different works. I am really sorry if I have come across as ignorant or if I have offended you somehow. There's already a thread where this is discussed, you don't have to bring it into this thread. If you think that it's important that others get to see what I wrote in that thread, we should just refer to that one instead:Cryogenic wrote:I don't have any agenda against you.
