Well, stefancrs said it would be ok to pirate synthmaker, so you all can get it anyway.

But winning it would give so much more satisfaction than simply leeching it off the net (which I won't do out of principles anyway). :)

Still haven't let that discussion go? ;)

I did not say that, nor that it was ok to pirate any other software, please don't make stuff up. I think that even if I work and make a living within the current system I should be able to discuss the flaws of it, but that does not mean that I think people should break current laws and/or license agreements. Please don't turn this thread into a fight, even if you have an agenda or something against me.

I don't have any agenda against you. But when your ignorant, rambling 'reality' comes back to bite you in the ass, i just have to point that out.

But please, tell us again. What's the difference between coyright of a song (in which you think its ok to widely copy and distribute), and your own software.

I haven't said it's ok to widely copy and distribute songs, and there's not really any difference between a "song copyright" and any other copyright. I have never said I think so, nor have I claimed that there's differences in copyrights that apply to different works. I am really sorry if I have come across as ignorant or if I have offended you somehow. There's already a thread where this is discussed, you don't have to bring it into this thread. If you think that it's important that others get to see what I wrote in that thread, we should just refer to that one instead:

Tuz: sorry about this.

Tuz: sorry about this.
It's not a great read, nor in your favor.
Can't wait to get me a copy of synthmaker. Is it finished yet?
