Here is the scenario,

I am using a Snapshot with Ivory (German D 10) muted and Colossus (Steinway Model B) active. I know both these samples are monsters. ZLoad is not checked.
I am using Live as my host with quantization off. When I play large complex passages, Colossus is dropping notes even though I have the voices set to 36. When I do the same with Ivory active and Colossus muted, there is no note dropping at all. Could the problem could be Colossus?

Also, I went to bed last night after a long session and left the Receptor and computer on. When I got up this morning, the Receptor Remote Control Screen was locked big-time! I had to power down and then reboot. I could not reset it with Multi->Power->X3.

I am starting to think that the problem could be with the Remote Control Software and not with the Receptor itself.

Has anybody been plagued with this type of problem?

FWIW, Colossus can use a LOT of RAM. I spent quite a while setting DFD values to maximize the sound with no drop-outs. Wound up setting the voice count high, like 64 or even 96 - don't forget to allow for the release samples, they double the voice count...
