I think that I dream...Quote:
Must I understand that this new 8 channels layout will be extended to other plugins ?
Yes, after testing I plan to re-use all this new functionality in next plug-in releases.
+1!Johnny Cherry wrote:I have one request, The A/B Buttons. Please could you turn the A/B buttons into one button, I often close my eyes as I switch between A/B's and so find one button easier to do this with, also it will save you space!
Frequencies will remain fixed in Overtone GEQ. Because this is a graphic EQ. Non-fixed frequencies really require a parametric EQ in GlissEQ appearance (otherwise you won't be able to control equalizer sound with ease). Will the plugin remains with fixed frequencies, or will it be possile in the future to set custom freq (80hz instead of 64, for example) ?
Congratulations.bmanic wrote:Yes. My wife gave birth to our daughter 7th of September.
It is easily expandable to ANY number... I will be waiting for requests. But 8 seems quite adequate. 12 seems to be a maximum (according to VST spec) - but even that is very rarely used as far as I understand.Hem, and "only" eight channels I/O ?
Yes, will do. I will simply do a switch to 'B' label from 'A' when that button is pressed. Please could you turn the A/B buttons into one button
12 is very nice to my needs at least (mainly because i often eq beats, and i have to boost the kick freq while cutting the narrow freq to avoid muddy sound : so one band between 20-70, one between 80-120, and one around 120-200 would make Overtone a better tool for this workIt is easily expandable to ANY number... But i guess 12 bvands would increase cpu needs ? So maybe 8 bands is fine if the goal is a "goto" eq... ?
I was talking about channels - not bands. I do not plan to extend Overtone GEQ with more EQ bands.sinkmusic wrote:12 is very nice to my needs at least (mainly because i often eq beats, and i have to boost the kick freq while cutting the narrow freq to avoid muddy sound : so one band between 20-70, one between 80-120, and one around 120-200 would make Overtone a better tool for this workIt is easily expandable to ANY number...
