THis is listed as working Unsupported. I have been able to install it but it wants to look for files in Program Files/LUXONIX. I have even tried to install on the PC in a Program Files/VST Plugins/Unsupported Plugins/LUXONIX location to see if it points to the right place.
It still runs but the dialog box comes up looking for the .con (configuration) and .ma (midi assign) files. These arent critical files for operation but I would rather not have the dialog come up everyime I load or unload the effect.
Has anyone had success with this?

I have it installed in Unsupported/Luxonix/LFX/ and there is no problem. The .con file is in the same folder.
I checked the registry, and you have two entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/LUXONIX. One is Path and the other is VST Path. Both have the same value, i.e. your install directory. In my case, c:\Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported Plugins\Luxonix\LFX\
Perhaps those entries are missing in your system, hence it is not working as it should.

Never done it myself yet, but it's the same as editing regedit in windows apparentley, you need to contact muse and get WINE edit i think. Oh actually it may be on receptorized yahoo group. Very good group for getting troublesome plugs on receptor!

The RECEPTORIZED group had detailed instuctions on how to do it. Thats how I did it. There is a link to an FAQ there with a wealth of information.

Ok, I got it. On my Receptor there was only one registry entry: Path (REG_SZ)
I changed it to the folder where I installed LFX-1310 ("C:\Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported") in my case, and now it's working!

Hi Guys,
I've been able to follow Oggs directions to change my root password, and enable ssh. I haven't been able to figure out the regedit part.
1.) do I need to install some sort of registry edit program? (I've seen WINE edit mentioned before).
2.) How can I see the list of keys from Regedit?
3.) How would I save a new value (such as the LFX path)?
Any help appreciated. Thanks,
Kevin L

Hi Kevin,
as c3boy said, you need to contact Muse (help ticket) to get instructions for enabling regedit on your receptor. It's already there but needs to be activated. Then you get access to a program very similar to regedit on windows.

Kevin,
Sorry if this sounds negative, but don't waste your time. I sent a Plugorama Helpdesk request Sept 20, and a follow-up Oct 2 about the same LFX 1310 issue. Here's the response I finally received today:
"Hi David,
We are working on a software update that will hopefully add further support for unsupported plugins, but we do not provide the regedit tool for customer use.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Muse Research"
I don't know if I'm more disappointed in the answer or the time it took for them to say no. At any rate, I did activate the regedit feature thanks to the Receptorized group, and fixed the problem easily. To be fair, if you are not computer savvy you could probably do some major damage with the regedit tool. However I have a problem with the response by Muse - especially with no resolution offered AND considering how easy it is to fix.

Thanks for your info, David and Jens,
I did manage to find the correct note on 'Receptorized', and got the regedit up and working. I have LFX working now.
David - sorry muse wasn't very helpful for you, they've always given me great support.
Regards,
Kevin L
