Still getting the blowouts and silence here. The blowouts are huge.liqih wrote:the limiter and a clipper are there, but the problems seems to be a memory bug exporting EXE with presets,
not an audio issue even though that affects audio,
please try these and let me know if they work better

Silent
SynapseSnafu
Blowout
Space
GatedTechno
WeeWee
Just a few examples. Not exhaustive at all because it gets a bit much after a while. I should add that it seems like selecting from the pop up preset menu may have something to do with it. I was scrolling without a problem through the presets until I found a silent one. Then after using the pop up menu list the first selection crashed Acidome. The on restart nearly all presets were blowing out my mind

Sorry Luigi - this may not be too helpful
I can confirm blowout on WeeWee and GatedTechno - both vu's go red and stay on the maximum level and they just produce constant high pitched noise. This is using both methods of choosing presets. WeeWee is instant, GatedTechno builds up over 5 seconds or so
I don't get a blowout on Space, it gets a bit loud but never goes over the limit.
One weird thing is that with no MIDI input WeeWee & GatedTechno and a couple of others start playing themselves. Some of them reset when a key is pressed some don't.
SynapseSnafu is silent for me as well. Several of the presets are silent when going sequentially through them. If I go to one of the presets I did (so I know what it sounds like) then go back some of them do work. Some of the presets have hardly any volume and others are too loud.
This version hasn't crashed on me, although the original version did.
Let me know if you'd like a list of the presets which remain silent at all times. It's about 30 in total I think.
Cheers
Steve

many thanks Steve, and I don't need the list so far,
all of you can even stop testing now, it's clear we have a serious problem in Acidome vs Synth Maker presets management
thanks everybody

My particular presets all work now, though they have ludicrously random volume levels and, though some were made to trigger on release, some now have unintentional, albeit interesting, violent release spikes. Damn, Acidome sounds good!

this version seems to work fine.
I HIGHLY suggest creating a compressor/limiter and gate built in to avoid blowing up people's speakers and eardrums!!! This is a great synth, but it can obviously do some serious damage if left unchecked!!!

about the gate, which I guess you mean a cliping stage,
there is one since version one, it stops any signal out of -1..+1 range, but when presets are wrong audio is written outside the proper buffer,
please correct me if I got wrong what you mean

I updated them and made some more. Now that I think of it I didn't edit in "RUNA" at the end of them - don't know if they can be edited just in the title I'll be back later.
