Z2 and Live6: Transposes when moving/copying clips

I was sure i had read something about this some time ago, but could not find any mention of this by searching so i post it as a separate bug.

When you move clips in arrange view in Ableton Live 6 (also in todays beta 21), in many many cases Zebra2 transposes either up or down one or more octaves in the new clip (!).

Sometimes the fix is easy; just undo and redo the same operation, it works. But other times it just wont work, and one have to create a brand new clip and program that, or consolidate, move to session view, apply the changes there, and drag the clip from session to arrange again. thats a rather long workaround...

Looks to me like a bug in Live, when automating integer AU parameters with a negative range. The transpose goes from -24 to +24 and it looks like they reset it to the smallest?

Maybe I can find another automatable parameter with these properties in one of my softs, that would give us an indication here...

Yes thats what i sounds like, things being transposed utterly far down. Should I post your findings to the ableton forum or is it better for you to contact them directly?

what's the status of this problem?

I love Z2 and Live 6, but the transpose thing is driving me nuts!
