yep, that's the best solution.
if you want to use eXT with midi-plugs to use with live-instruments, you just have to use the eXT VSTi on a midi track and route the midi data to another midi track with the instrument.

The only problem there is that Live handles CC's sent from inside Live AFTER the midi learn recogonition, so cc's from my plugs (afaik) can't control Live instruments.

yeah right, forgot about that.. was thinking about notes all the time ;)

No, it is not as simple as that, for 2 reasons :

1- only Live's native plugins can be inserted BEFORE a vsti ;

2- i don't want to control a VST, but a hardware instrument, so i must be able to load a midi plugin AND make my track understand that it has to output midi (and with ext inserted, it only wants to output audio) :(

I tried dozens of solutions, so i admitt i might have got lost in my routing tweakings attempts at some time, but i think it is just not possible (i even contacted Ableton's support, that told me Live couldn't handle correctly non-ableton midi plugins)....

use this inside XT as a VST in LIVE to send to hardware.

Also use it to send midi info out to something like Hubi's midi looback virtual port and back into Live for controlling anything as if it were coming from an external controller. :)

Thank you Soma.
I already tried to use it, but i guess it may have been an older version : mine were red/brown, and didn't "see" my midi output port as an output, so i didn't succeed.
I will try again with this one.

About the virtual ports, i have Sony Virtual Midi router, and someone already suggested me Midi Yoke, too, but i hoped i could find something easier... I guess i'm so bad at "learning cruves" game, it often takkes me a lot of time to oget into an app, and i do step by step, so i'm still in newbie mode for Ext, and tried -in order to keep things easy to learn- not to use third party stuff, like virtual midi routers (and as engliish is not my native language, it often takes more time to understand).
I also rade that midi yoke could degrade the audio quality of the audio flow, so i avoided to use it. maybe i was wrong, and if it is the only way to make my configuration work the right way, of course i will install it, but i hoped i could do only with Live, Ext, and some fine Soma, Asseca, Nickfit tools ;) !

Today it is late, and i have some late work to finish, but tomorrow, i will take tome time to get into it.
If anybody here have any suggestion on which virtual midi router to use (Sony VMR, MidiYoke, hubi's), i would tae any advice

Thank you once again
Cheers

PS : Reaper does have tap tempo , now !:) (so i don't need your tap tempo plugin i once requested for Reaper, except if it can grow into a "audio to tap tempo" monster plugin)

using the routing in live you can, but not in the same track and only for notes or ccs which are natively supported by a plug ;)

it should be able to route the midi from a eXT VSTi to an external synth, try this

Thank you for this advice.
I think i already tried this routing, but maybe it was Ext effect version...
I will try again, from scratch, and with loopbe1.

Just a big thank you to everyone who donated. It actually worked out very well. :)
I bought Plastique's licence from him (thanks plast and Jeff from SE), and had enough left to almost cover the licence I needed to update my CK modules (which the tap tempo used) to working versions.

Just waiting for the CK purchase to clear and then I'll see how well my audio in version of tap tempo will work.
Here are the plans I'm stealing :hihi:

Whats a simple delay plugin that can help me with THIS: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2192274

EDIT: It has to be pretty complicated acutually because it has to compound the delay to compensate for notes in sequence.
Do not lick the fablanky
