Of course, that would be easier if we knew anything about them.

I am excited about the folder tracks. And I appreciate that it didn't stop there. Vca filters are natural and great. I'm not sure I understand what "collection" clips are but they could well be something great too....

I added a screenshot to the original post. You can see the editable collection clips on the folder track.

Collection clips are clips that show on the folder track. It shows the contents of the folder, even when closed, to let you know where the various elements are. See in the screenshot the folder? Look at the clip that is contained in it.semiquaver wrote:I am excited about the folder tracks. And I appreciate that it didn't stop there. Vca filters are natural and great. If that's the final GUI then I'll be a bit dissapointedBeno wrote:I added a screenshot to the original post. You can see the editable collection clips on the folder track.

Yeah I know you had to cram in a lot of stuff in one single screen, and it's hard to do. But it looks very unpolished.

Now i feel like a jerk, because some of the things looks really nice and the new feature set is impressive. I just get the feeling that I'm losing my simplistic easy to use host to featureland.

Just to clarify something... can you use that loop browser for midi clips? And if so, when you drop a midi clip into a track, does the clip conform to the tempo you have set up in T, or does t's tempo change to conform to the clip like it does in T2?
This has prolly already been explained, but getting me to understand things requires a certain degree of patience :p

I think once you hide that loop browser and perhaps resize some stuff, it'll probably look pretty familiar. That color scheme certainly doesn't help, either.rainydays wrote:Now i feel like a jerk, because some of the things looks really nice and the new feature set is impressive. Just to help you a bit, take a look at the top right of the screenshot. Notice the buttons? They may help you in this problem.rainydays wrote:Now i feel like a jerk, because some of the things looks really nice and the new feature set is impressive. Besides hiding things, what else looks cluttered? Just curious.

Right, the browser on the left can be hidden. The bottom can be resized. The global and marker track can be hidden. So can the inputs.koolkeys wrote:Just to help you a bit, take a look at the top right of the screenshot. Notice the buttons? With the browser on the right of the tracks it now makes even more sense to support multiple monitor setups( for those who want it). The last thing anybody wants is that simple Traction interface to be cluttered. I understand it can be hidden but its nice to be able to have all features someone needs to be open.
