If you have 40 tracks with a traditional mixer, it just runs off the side of the screen instead of the bottom. And all of the functionality is still there.walleyI wrote:not when you get past 40 tracks its not. I suppose it will be slightly easier with the inclusion of folder tracks but still....

I'd like to ad my thanks to Beno and the team for the inclusion of so many user-ful aspects to what will be T3.
I just wonder whether the "New Marker Types" will include soft idents? This would then enable tracktioneers to master projects straight out of T3 for CD burning.

thanks for the info beno. i'll start saving my pennies.

I agree that a wide monitor helps. And I don't mean to come off mean, so sorry if I did. I just think there isn't much of a need for a mixer. Especially with folder tracks.walleyI wrote:depends how wide your monitor is i suppose.

Everyone works differently though.

Well with all the new features i hope T3 will come with a decent manual. The popup help is great when you're starting out, but i've always wanted something a bit more in depth, even if it's just a pdf. The number of times in the past that I've thought "how in the name of padraig d'you use these rack thingies" ...

I've got two PDF manuals with T2...an operation manual and a referene guide, otherwise I never would have learned how to use racks....chico.co.uk wrote:Well with all the new features i hope T3 will come with a decent manual. FYI, the SWA video has a buttload of useful information,(if you haven't already check it out) even for someone who is fluent and experienced with Tracktion.

Bloody hell, so there is ... there's even a section on using end-to-end, so it looks like I can listen to realtime guitar effects as I play them.
So where's this birdbath then?
