Did you put it into the proper folder?
It's working fine here under 10.4.8 and Logic 7.2.3.

It's in "WhateverHD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components"
In "User > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components" it won't work, as it seems.

Strange, how about other hosts? Such as the AU lab (included with Tiger in the Developer Tools)?
Isn't there an option in the AU validation utility to rescan the plug-ins? And if so did you try? You may move all the ones you have already in there out to speed up the process and only have Filterscape in there.
Cheers and good luck
Hans

Rescanning didn't do anything for me with the plugin I mentioned before. It simply hasn't been working at all in the "Username > etc..." location.wonshu wrote: Isn't there an option in the AU validation utility to rescan the plug-ins? And if so did you try? Haven't even found the AU lab yet though (sorry, still very new to OSX).
As said, for me, moving/copying things into the "mainHDDname > etc..." location just did the job.
And it seems as if you have to do things manually with FS for now (I mean, there's no presets either in the zip...).

I just downloaded the package from http://www.filterscape.com and it had all the presets!
Did you move them to the right location?
Either:
MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Filterscape/
or
~user/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Filterscape/

I just tried with FS, and it *did* work in either directory (both "HDDname > ..." and "UserUrs wrote:Really ?!?Sascha Franck wrote:In "User > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components" it won't work, as it seems.![]()
Gonna check that out...

This is confusing for me. But ok, I'm still very new to OSX.

Hm - didn't see the UB version on the website, so I downloaded it from the link in Urs' first post, which doesn't seem to contain any presets.wonshu wrote:I just downloaded the package from http://www.filterscape.com and it had all the presets!
Sure - but I used the presets from my Windows install (they're showing up fine as well) as the UB version posted here doesn't seem to contain any.Did you move them to the right location?

There is a known, well sort of, issue with the AU validator sometimes only validating the second time or after one day.
So perhaps you stepped into that trap.
I hope you got the presets from the other download now.
Cheers

Ah, I see.wonshu wrote:There is a known, well sort of, issue with the AU validator sometimes only validating the second time or after one day.
Well, as said, I just copied them from my Windows install. So it's all running fine over here.I hope you got the presets from the other download now.

Btw, I noticed that some of my copied presets are sounding entirely different in the Mac/UB version.
Urs, if you can, please check "GRV RH 01 SF" on both Windows and OSX. Under OSX there's no modulation going on at all.

I think I have fixed that already... time to get the next build out, when the current traffic gets a bit lower...

Any idea when the final UB will be released? Or is the beta stable enough for serious use? I just bought FS, based on the strengths of zebra 2. I must admit that a lil filterscape madness on the output of zebra is very funky indeed.
