:hihi: Well, I doubt it's because they discovered an easy fix for it and therefore forgot all about mentioning it.

Neil, is it possible you're the 1st one to note that bug and therefore you're being... :hihi:

I still think my genious idea for making the midi inputs click dragable to more than one track is a total T-workflow winner. The racktioneers won out there, however. :P

Can you move the fade in and fade out on the audio clips for the whole group?

Someone asked about the Time Stretch algorithm. It's using Elastique Efficient by ZPlane development. www.zplane.de

That would be a most incredibly useful feature. Please please please

I wonder if the global track acts like a collection clip for the whole edit...

I think posts like this are probably why Mackie doesn't like to release any information before the official announcement.

I think it would be safe to say that either 1)Beno doesn't have this information, or 2)the fix for this bug is continuing currently, or...3)they have no plans to implement a fix before v3's release.

I heard it would need a low level audio engine rewrite to fix, so until you see that on the update list, keep waiting...

OK, here is the word on first note bug. We haven't yet tried to fix it. We are still finishing up some last minute new features raised in this thread (hint hint). At some time before release, we will spend look at the first note bug. There are no guarantees on if it can/will be fixed in the allotted time but we will definitely do what we can.

Thank you Beno, the Elastique algorithm from Z-Plane is very good (it's used in Ableton Live and FL Studio)

This is very good news indeed !

Thank you for replying to my pm.

I am not taking credit for this - but I believe I made this suggestion for Mackie to see about purchase of Elastique like FL did long ago in this forum.

Seems most users of it are quite happy with it so here I am waiting with my CDs full of loops from Beta Monkey - palms are sweating in anticipation.
