nor the interface
nor the names
not even really the copy protection system...
I can live with any of that stuff.
What gets me is the lies and utterly foul business behaviour from both parties involved.
EA sending a "valued customer" email to their customers a couple days before the Roger deal goes through, trying to grab more money out of us, offering us a (not so) 'special' price to add another one of their plugins to our collection. Knowing full well that these 'valued' customers were about to get screwed, and actually trying to screw them HARDER and FOR MORE MONEY with this 'valued customer' offer.
This is most certainly the shadiest move I've ever seen by an audio products vendor, absoutely disgusting, foul and inexcusable. What kind of greedy, shameless assholes are these people?
Then Roger's marketing lies about how these algos have been developed by him over many years, have been a secret weapon in his arsenal, early incarnations used on Steely Dan albums etc. Who does this guy think he is kidding? wtf
snakes and liars, that's the part i won't swallow.
The prices - whatever
The names - who cares
The GUI - who cares?
The CPS - whatever
The Snakes and Liars?
