Squids-
Is it fair to say that all other anticipated projects (SP/SE update, SR patch forums, SS2 update, SR's expanded 3rd party retail offerings, etc.) are on hold until Studiophonik is released?
I'm overhauling my studio this summer, and I've got some budgeting to do. So...I was trying to anticipate the timing as I'm planning to get the SS2 upgrade, Studiophonik and possibly Miro. When should I start lobbying the wife?

Well, actually, it is the other way around. Studiophonik borrows from the Studio ProFile sessions so those are still being edited and brought to SampleTank format for SPK. Also the Infinite Instrument series (like an upcoming "Infinite Guitars" that hasn't yet been announced but also the Infinite Drums titles). Studiophonik is like a mix of material from all of that but the only problem is that those products aren't finished yet either. So, it kind of goes hand in hand and they're being worked on at the same time like an assembly line. Studiophonik will not be out until end of Summer at the earliest if that helps.

Whenever my grandkids are over and we are messing around in the "studio." they always say the same thing...Beardedone wrote:Same here still! This product has a lot of people anxious. Myself included.
Papa, tells us the story again about when you were a little boy and Studiophonik was announced. Were you really there back then?

Seriously, timely releases are nice, but none of us wnat you guys to work yourselves into an early grave. I'm guessing you decided that yourselves a long time ago.

We had certain material in mind when we first came up with Studiophonik and then as we were producing these different themed products we thought that it would make Studiophonik an even better resouce for creating a virtual band. Remember that I too am waiting for Studiophonik to be done because I would use it all the time for writing/production and band prep arrangements. I mean, I use parts of it all the time already. It's getting closer but not ready to come out of the oven just yet.SaviorNeeded wrote:"Yes my child. And if you don't smoke or drink, perhaps you will live to see the day..."

Some major changes but good and important ones regarding the effects section and a few other things... I mean for "studio in a box" there are certain things that will really make it AMAZING and that is what we've asked for... only requires a little more time. It is already way over due we know. But, I do believe it will be unique and worth the wait.brotherone wrote:Any news?

Hey Squids
Since we are approaching the "making a list and checking it twice" time of year I have a question. Should I be bugging Santa or hassling the Easter Bunny for Studiophonik? Stocking or basket...enquiring minds want to know

Well, there have been some rather dramatic changes to Studiophonik so it will be longer, sorry about that. You will see the bigger picture soon and it will make more sense why that is.
