It's a TV channel that's entirely user-submitted content. Instead of shows they show "pods" that are typically less than 10 minutes long and are reports/short films/news/funny shit people caught on their camera phones/etc. I dont really like TV but I'm pretty hooked to itLunch Money wrote:Nope. PRO-TOOLS has extra ability because of the DSP so that you can mix with effects and tons of tracks without slow-ups or glitches. It can be argued that PRO-TOOLS also has a more efficient workflow for mixing audio, but that's debateable. The real key is the DSP. Give a regular DAW the power of 4 top notch PC's and Pro-tools probably wouldn't have an edge.

David Kahne is recording a forgotten John-Lennon-Track with the Voice of Paul Mc Cartney in New York and he is using Sequoia.
PT is an overrated, overpriced program.
maybe it is used in 99 of 100 Hit records, but only because hit records come from mainstream stars and they produce in big studios and there is PT. Thats what "standard" means. To do something spectcular, feel free to use anything else, but not PT makes the hits, the experienced producers and the rest of the gear (mikes, channe strips, console...).

True but that's beside the point.
