Some new features and one major (internal) rethink:
- Reverb damping fader added. (Should be set right in the middle for old patches.)
- Reverb and delay volume faders now have an exponential response curve for finer control over low/moderate FX settings. Old patches will have way too much wet signal by default - needs to be re-balanced.
- Clip warning LED added at the master volume fader: When this lights, you will get digital clipping when running the host at 0dB output. (The Dist FX can REALLY boost the signal amplitude out of all proportion, so this acts as a good help to keep levels on the sane side!)
- Previously, the master volume level control affected the input signal before the FX chain; most notably, it thus varied the strength of the dist input signal, which wasn't good. Now the master volume level is truly the final stage of the signal chain. It meant adding a couple of more amps (and CPU load), but it was unavoidable.
This may have some effect on old patches that use the Dist FX: To vary the input level to the FX chain, you now have to use the individual EG1/EG2 faders for the oscillators (and the expression input level faders).
Thanks to all testers, whose patches and input helps me get the thinking straight!
EDIT: Oh, yes - also, tooltips!
