Too bad IK is locked into this dongle thing. They are certainly losing at least one sale because of it.

And of course, everyone seems to think that being pissed off at dongle crap means that you only use warez....

They must have lost a huge number of sales. I went and bought Guitar Rig instead.

I know I will not even consider trying the demo since, as I understand it, you need a dongle even to do that (is that actually true...? ) There are too many alternatives, some great ones are free (SimulAnalog, FreeAmp SE).

Sure there is!

Use the following formula: start = (15 * PageNumberDesired) -1

Take the link in the addresse bar and replace (or append) the last argument "&start=xxx" where xxx = your result from the equation.
