Yikes..even the company that hosts my own website for only 17.95/month has backup servers in case one goes down...Anything with C/R should have a backup server that mirrors the site in the event of an outage...

I wouldn't argue that.

I don't think it's an outage. I think the httpd is crashing. The machine that hosts the site is probably up and stable still.jplanet wrote:Anything with C/R should have a backup server that mirrors the site in the event of an outage...
I don't know whether the site is running IIS or Apache, and I can't be bothered to look, but ideally, it should have auto service resume active for the web server.
I'm guessing also that Mackie are hosting the server themselves, 'cos if not, their hosting company should be much more on the ball regards giving stalled services a much needed kick.

Now I'm really thinking os switching hosts. I mean I was really thinking before because I'm building my new core duo system this weekend and I want something that can take advantage of the dual cores, but now,...
Unless,..it is a site redesign issue or something like that and not Mackie going under. I still can hope for the best becuase I would like T3 to have dual core support - will it even have that? Time for more coffee.

Come on guys. We are not going out of business. Our site was just down for some reason over the weekend. Sorry if this caused any licensing headaches. All should be back up and running now.
