For those who have missed the post in the main samples forum, I'm putting it here too.
By special agreement with Pettinhouse, we are offering you an edited version of their drumkits. Both are mapped for the NUSofting DK+ and include the waves files. The samples are trimmed and normalised. This is because the original Battery kits that Andrea designed were taking advantage of its ability to select the starting point of the sample. But this was introducing a delay in the playback with the DK+ and some others samplers that do not have this feature.

Thank you!

What are these Pettinhouse kits? Are they freely available or commercial? And in the latter case, where could I hear some demos?

They are free. The samples and more info are included in the download. The original samples were made by Pettinhouse:fac wrote:What are these Pettinhouse kits? Are they freely available or commercial? And in the latter case, where could I hear some demos?

Any chance of the Pettinhouse library all being ported over to dk+? I like these two free kits so much that I want to buy the whole library, but I don't like using NI stuff. (I also don't want the electronic half of the library, but they don't sell them separately.)

Cannot answer that one, you should email Andrea directly about it.pough wrote:Any chance of the Pettinhouse library all being ported over to dk+? I will. I wanted to try here first because answers tend to come quickly.
