androidlove, yes, but the difference is that you don't plan to commercially sell a product for a high price point. Like the old saying goes, you need money to make money.

Also on DEC 01 we will see the new ReValverII coming out.
A lot of players who like heavier tones, like Dimitar, claim it's the best ever.
So there is pleanty of new toys out there for Xmas.

@ Hink : first don't be upset by the "childish" remark, that's what I thought when I saw you posting pictures of your gear to make your point. I was talking about that precise behaviour, I know you're a grown man. Now I wasn't posting about you for the "having one's needs covered". And to conclude the dissing part was clearly about Rene's attitude towards competition, but I'm sure as the clever guy he is, he'll admit he kind of crossed the line in promoting his work at the expense of the big guns. I guess that was passion talking !

Actually, you'll note that he doesn't say he's quit working on it..

Of course, it's like when my dad used to ask me what I was doing...I'd say "nothin" and he'd say, "hard to know when you'll be done then, huh?"

I kid...I myself lost interest in picking on Midiworks a long time ago...it used to be for real, now I'm just joking. It appears he's really a developer and has done some cool stuff.

As far as I know, I don't think he's taken any money for anything and not delivered.

So he's a dreamer...me too! I have a ton of songs that I just know will be hits if I ever finish them

If you guys continue to like to gnaw over things that aren't real, you might want to move to the Babya thread. He's at least real and he continues to put out software. constantly.

EDIT: Never mind. Ignore the above. This post made perfect sense, in a whimiscal sort of way, when I wrote it, ripping through the house on the way to the library before it closed. And now, it seems like total gibberish...
