Agreed- we're definitely on the same page as far as amps go. However, I am not currently setup for amp-micing and the rest right now...hope to be in the future. In addition, I really like the feature of being able to plug in a bass and guitar on GR2 for some mutual jams, etc...warren wrote:Well to be fair I bought GR2 and rarely use it, only time I do is for the occasional wacky sound effect. A software dedicated solely to bass amp sims sounds fantastic, though. I always record bass direct, so that's something I could get some real mileage out of.
From a tone standpoint, the best I've gotten to date is a Fender Champ straight in. I do, however, like the bass tones that come out of GR2, but then again, I am not a dedicated bass player.
