Hi. Thank you for working on the volume/drive relationship so I can A/B the effect easily now.

It's quite good! I've only tried it on a few things so far, but it almost gives a person the feeling they're driving an actual tube. Not very digital sounding at all -- quite an accomplishment.

Nice work!

Thanks!

So, I'm thinking about the usability of this knob, what value is this knob set to? It's impossible to see from looking at the picture. IMHO the fact that I cant see the value renders it useless.

what about a little glowing indicator lamp and a bigger gap in the knob? actually these are 4 knobs. the little knobs around the big one and the big one, but looking at it while its so small, the small ones are far too small (although the original gui was bigger) and may be the maounting points now. so four of them in a row on a rack ? anyways, i'm waiting for a word from the dev, as he has to implement the GUI.

enter the code left to the box where you have to input the code :D . its just to protect the site from bots, who cant read the code, since its a picture where you have to interpret the code.

This sounds fantastic!! So which is the latest version?

Post

hey NickCrow, TubeDriver VST (0.77) is still cpu hogging :( ! what did you change?

some renders of my knobS. i'll try to dig two whole into the golden body and stick red glowing to the drive-signal amout (like glowing tubes) crystals into it.
some variations. i like the third best.

yes, significant increase of cpu use ... also i'd wish for numerical readouts and linear mouse move behaviour on the knobs ... soundwise i really love thisone!
