oh sorry i found it now at pro sounds if i understand it correct that the ps 1 is the extended version of it ?

The PS-1 is based on the old daAlfa2k engine, yes. However, the only thing that remains the same are the oscillators and wave loading. I'm drafting 2.0 features now...plus, it's currently on sale, and if you buy, you qualify for a free upgrade to 2.0 when it is released.
Also, if you own the daAlfa2k, we have a massive 648-preset collection for it that honestly makes it one of the only synths you'll need for most genres.
