Since this appears to be the testing thread..
There's support in Zebra 2 for .tun files but something seems to go a bit odd whenever i load them up.
In a 24-tone-per-octave .tun file, some notes are either really low and buzzy below G-1 in Buzz and after G#1 they're an ear-splitting high frequency with scaling that starts out being a tone between notes and then goes down to tiny fractions of a semitone. Certain .tun files even make Zebra 2 crash.
The .tun file works fine with Rhino 2 (i copied it from Rhino's tunings even), Angelina, Cameleon 5k.. Scala itself seems to know what's going on (and even says .tun files work with Zebra 2), so it seems like Zebra 2's not interpreting the files correctly. I'm not sure where to set the AnaMark information mentioned earlier in this thread to boot; the program Urs was using to generate his stuff doesn't appear to have been Scala.
Goes without saying it's an astoundingly sexy softsynth nonetheless and Urs should be well proud for bringing this into the world, of course.

It's fixed here, but I don't think it's in the current download. However, there'll be a new version with a lot of fixes before I go on vacation (Jan 21st)...

----Uhh, o.k., I installed the updated Zebra here, I'm a licensed owner, and it does that annoying stop/start/play out of tune then thing. It says registered to : my name at start up, so why is it running in demo mode on me now ? Help help, please please.
(Running it in FL Studio btw)

Here in FLStudio run fine, i've installed 2.1 over the old one.
Try to uninstall zebra and delete the U-He folders in program files and in the vst folder (if the uninstaller haven't deleted), then reinstall only v2.1 and if name and code are asked put them.
Try.

(Now that i think about your start/stop/play...i don't remember well, but the demo mode would not start after 15min? and isn't a simple self random note play?)

----I'd rather not unistall it completely if possible. Is there a way to force the register/code prompt ? Sorry, it's just been like a long time since I put a newer version of Zebra on, I forget the process.
----The notes aren't *random*, it just goes badly out of tune after stopping playback, and restarting when choosing a new preset. Like it's playing a sequence, I find a preset I like, tweak it etc., then hit stop and play again, and it's way out of tune or whatever, it changes radically from how it sounded while it was still playing along the first time.

Uhm, dunno more.
If I had these problems the uninstall/reinstall would be the only thing that I would do.
Wait that the Urs substitute answers.

----Hmm, well, that sounds like a possibility, except there was no midi learn info being used. I'm using the piano roll in FL, then I wander through the presets til I find one I like and want to render. If I render it without stopping, it sounds the same weird/out of tune, as if I had stopped playback and hit start again. I don't get it, but I'm hoping maybe someone else can explain what's causing it. Thanksbeej wrote:That sounds like your host is sending MIDI to Zebra and changing it's tuning. Delete all your MIDI learn stuff and try again.
This is nothing to do with demo mode, your copy is registered and the things you are seeing are not the demo limitation.

Check the midiport input on the right high corner of the wrapper.
Be sure that is set to --- (no input).
Sometimes i use a midiout channel with the midi out port set to the same value of the midi in port of a wrapped multipart synth channel.
Can you send me the .flp file?
I can try to see if the problem remain on my pc and if i can resolve.
