I just received a new Receptor Pro today.
I'm having a frustrating problem with the boot, though. It seems that whenever my PC keyboard is connected, the interface simply fails to boot. The splash screen comes up, and at some point the screen goes blank and flashes between a completely black screen and a software blank screen. Without the keyboard [a standard Fellowes KB-2971] connected, the system boots just fine
Anyway, I noticed one thread mentioning the possibility of the BIOS "halt on all errors" setting being on, but when I go to the BIOS, I'm blocked by a password prompt. So, what gives? Can I have a look at the BIOS settings? I'd like to get this taken care of as soon as possible so I can install some plugins that require a keyboard for authorization.
Receptor hangs at boot due to keyboard

Are you using a PS2 keyboard with a USB mouse, or vice versa? That happened to me - Receptor doesn't like you using both technologies at once.

I'm using a PS2 keyboard with a USB mouse, yes. I suspected that it might be something like that.
So I suppose the logical solution would be to buy a USB keyboard.
