2) what is the white bar to the left of the loop button (under the metronome)?

It indicates the CPU usage. The more VSTs you plug in, the more the meter will go up. (euh, go right).

can't remember if I posted this bug report before.

If LUNA (Mia 7-8 ASIO) starts after Media Player Classic (Mia 3-4 Virtual Out PureWave) (whilst MPC is playing), something terrible happens to the sound. CPU hits 100%, playback hits about one sample per second... However, the same isn't true with foobar2000 (Mia 1-2 Virtual Out PureWave). (I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what combination of outs I use.) If I start LUNA first, MPC is happy.

Is anyone else using MPC alongside LUNA? Had any problems?

Well, if it's not MPC, my next guess would be the driver (perhaps relating to sample rate clashes). But my gut feel is MPC, given that Foobar2000 works okay. So, is there anyone using MPC successfully (with a multi-out card and separate outs from LUNA), launching MPC before LUNA?

Okay, I did a little more testing. Started up MPC. Then started up Audacity and set that playing. No problem. Started up Muzys and set it playing. No problem. Started up CMusic (just to see if it was a LUNA/my config problem) and got the same result: computer hangs desperately trying to send samples to the sound card with CPU hitting 100%.

Could it be that you selected all asio inputs/outputs in Edit->Audio Setup->Select Inputs/Ouputs?

Or did you properly select separate asio outputs for LUNA and MPC?

LUNA has outs 7/8, Muzys has outs 5/6, MPC has outs 3/4, Foobar has outs 1/2. I'll try LUNA with outs 5/6 to see if it's somehow "falling off the end" when lower outs are already claimed.
