Fair enough, I'm still confused though. How he could have a patch with two voices panned as he stated? This made me believe that the SQ8L could do this with the addition of PAN as a modulator, but your explanation makes sense. I haven't explored any of the new modulation features added to the emulation yet - too much time cleaning up banksc_huelsbeck wrote:Sorry to have to correct you again, but the modulators are always sources, not destinations. In this case, the source refers to midi cc panning (cc #10). Also since the DCAs 1-3 are mixed before the filter and the filter is mono, there can be no panning for the individual OSCs...1-2-Many wrote:Actually there is panning for the individual OSCs; under each OSC's DCA you can select pan as a modulator. So he may indeed be referring to an SQ8L patchc_huelsbeck wrote:1-2-Many: There is no panning for individual OSCs. Maybe he is talking about a real SQ80 with a layer sound. In that case he has to identify the second patch and make the changes on both patches similar to the plugin.
Maybe he meant he has two patches panned as he described ?
