Indeed.. one of the quirks I mentioned and kind of like as it makes this plugin unpredictable.

Anyhow, I actually LIKE the sound of it so please, whatever you do, don't change it or at least keep the original behavior optional!
I really really dig this plugin of yours. It's in my folder "secret weapons" and proudly sits just below a very special beta version of voxengo warmifier.
Cheers!

Right, then it's certainly good enough for a bit of the old Johann Sebastian, then.

This plugin is a reall treat.
If you ever update it my only request would be finer control; a-la Frohmage. It's really fine tuney and I'm learning to use it all over the place. Thanks for this... much underrated goodie!

thx for that.. you have read the manual haven't you, regarding the use of keyboard modifiers when dragging to get better control... If you need something even finer, let me know..
EQ22 will be updated, but not for a little while - I have other projects which need finishing..
Oh, and I forgot to say here - thx all for voting, I really appreciate it. EQ22 cam 15/31, so it was in the top 50%

Yes, I am aware of using the shift button for finer control. I was only asking if it would be possible to refine it just a little further whenever an update would be possible. This is a bit more important on the lower end I find. The high end is OK as it is.
What this thing can do for controlling transients is just f**king PERFECT!! It's made trying to fit bass, especially kicks much more managable. I actually feel newly and completely inspired as far as that's concerned. Often times I was layering kicks to try and get the right sound, but always had to look for different sounds or fiddle too much with processing to try getting everything to gel together, even when i liked what I already had. This plugin should really be called Kick-EQ22
It's really just a multiband Dominion on crack.
Tip for new users; simply put a single kick in a channel, and make s(m)exoscope your friend to see what thing thing is REALLY all about. I think it should have done much better, even in my own DC tally. As far as new, *useful* (subjective), and innovative plugins go, I'm glad I voted for Reson8 and EQ22, despite not yet realising it's full potential. CHEERS!
once again, and any updates are welcomed at your leisure.

EQ22 has always seemed like it would be very useful to me, but I haven't been able to get it to work yet. Anytime any of the faders are set above the mid-point I get a bunch of noise (almost like a massive cpu overload, but it's not), and the audio sounds almost like it's going through a ring modulator or something. Is anyone else having this problem (other than me...I reported this during beta testing)? I'm using eXT in WinXP sp2, Edirol FA-66 interface. Oh, and I am using a laptop system with a 2 Ghz P4 cpu.

you have got the latest version from RoughDraftAudio, haven't you...
This was a problem which was fixed (related to varying host buffer sizes), unless something else has cropped up...

Sorry
I guess since I didn't hear back from you [during beta testing] I assumed that I had a unique bug that you couldn't duplicate.
It works GREAT after guitar amp sims - Mojo o'Plenty! It's the legendary mojo filter!! Thanks!!!

ok, this is a long range bump, but I wanted to say, Duncan that I use this more and more these days. In the last week I was trying to eq some dance kicks just..so.., to no avail, with compressors, etc. With EQ22 I was able to dial up a satisfying sound quickly and easily. Somewhere between the octave shift and the tube stage ther eis magic happening, so thanks!
Had I to vote all over again, this would become my #1 based on usage alone.
Now, can I interest you in a new gui?
seriously- I'll knock one out-hell I'll knock 2 out, one hardware, one plastic if you like!
