Does it mean we get new IK MUltimedia goodies on our Receptor soon ? I wouldn't mind running my copy of Philharmonik on my Receptor.

I read Squids say in another thread that an update to MP was coming which would un-dongle it, and that ST 2.2 would be able to read it's sounds.Kermit Jagger wrote:http://www.ikmultimedia.com/MainPhp.htm ... php&Id=686

ST 2.1 used to just "lock up" if you tried to load an MP sound (though it could "see" then). I tried it with ST 2.2 the other day and it said something like "you are trying to load a MP 1.0 sound, please upgrade to MP 1.1"...
I can't wait. BTW: I have ST 2.2 working fine on Receptor, so I'M READY for MP!!

I've not updated ST yet but good to know it works.

I had to do some registry stuff, but it was worth it due to the faster loading. I have both ST2.0 (muse installer) and ST2.2 (unsupported) installed, and the SS2 "Grandio" piano (about the largest ST format sound I have) loads in like 3 seconds versus 15!Kermit Jagger wrote:I've not updated ST yet but good to know it works.

Ooch, big difference.
I'll check that. Might even remove ST2.0 if 2.2 works as unsupported.
