hi
i try both plug in sets, the zebra 2 and the filterscape!
and i like them both!
my problem is now, do i need filterscape!
i'm interested in the synth and not so much in the filter vst,
but can zebra do all what filterscape can do, too?
i am not sure!
plese help me to understand the main differences!
thanks and greetings
olaf

Hmm.
Well, both have something that might be identified by the "u-he sound", whatever that is.
Zebra is more flexible in general, and more patches are available.
FilterscapeVA is easier to program.
Oscillators are different technology, Filters are different algorithms. In any case, Zebra has "more" of each.
Both can sound very "direct", where Zebra also has its "distant" patches. "Direct" is good for a mix. (It's the opposite of what I call the D-50 effect, where a synth alone sounds incredible, but you can't make it out in a mix, because it just drowns)
For "pure synth", FilterscapeVA might be the better choice.
For "all-in-wonder", Zebra is the better choice.
However, you should definately have a look at both Zebralette (is that what you like?) and Filterscape/FilterscapeQ6 - both bundles follow a concept. Once you "click" to a concept, you'll know what to get.

hello urs
thnaks for your fast answer!
i think i take a second look a all six plug-ins!
and i think i know what you mean!
- i like the arps and pads in zebra
and
- i am a fan of the "more agressive" sounds in fVS!
if i decide to buy them both, is it possible to get a dicout on it?
